This house has been transformed in different stages as budget permitted

The first stage, the living and entertaining areas

The house already had nice high ceilings and lots of natural light and it was painted white in keeping with that nice natural light and bright look.

It looked more spacious and inviting once the older furniture and furnishings were removed, and the existing patio enclosure dismantled. The glass sliding doors were taken out and the opening extended to allow for a 5 metre bifold connecting the living room and deck and pool. This gives the house a real inside out experience and fits the resort brief.

There was a pool installed with decking at either end of it. This existing deck outside of the kitchen area will have a future roof to allow for a bbq and outside kitchen and covered space to allow for more all year round entertaining space.

The kitchen was removed and new one configured with an internal wall bought out into the deck space to extend the kitchen area, and the kitchen now faces towards the entertaining area and pool.

A 3 metre bifold window was installed in the kitchen to allow for indoor outdoor entertaining and a bar nook to perch at.

This house had cypress floors and we wanted to create a more modern contemporary look, so they were stained Black Japan.
